The director of ASMAC, Pr Boyomo Assala reminded the difference between perishable and non-perishable works to men of the 7th Art. In addition, he called on them to advertise their goods in order to make a living of it.

The European Union (EU) to Cameroon, Francoise Collet  exhorted Cameroonians to value their culture rather than wait for subventions from outside. After a question of the film director Marie Noel Niba, she informed the public that the next call to a participative financing or financing of the EU will take place at the beginning of 2018.

Various sponsors promised to help the industry like the Director of Ecobank  who said his bank has been supporting the industry and will continue to do so.

The last speaker to take the floor was actor/producer and film-writer Nkanya Nkwai. In his speech he decried the state of the industry especially the fact that foreigners are used for adverts than the home based actors which was not fair. The filmmaker in addition reminded the precarious conditions of their activity and solicited the government's  attention. According to him, the State must take a numbers of measures to accompany the cinematographic sector and to develop the distribution and sale sector.
